I am an artist and illustrator from Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and make illustrations for various types of media and applications, such as print, murals, editorial etc. In addition to the more creative work I am also currently specialising in medical illustration at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts & Design and the Anatomy Department of Maastricht University. Medical illustration combines science, art and craftsmanship and as such provides for a perfect symbiosis of my fascination for anatomy and my love for drawing. By using fine detailed pencil and watercolour techniques I strive to reach a clean aesthetic in my drawings.
